Beirut, June 17: An Ethiopian plane made an emergency landing at Beirut International Airport on Thursday shortly after take-off due to a technical malfunction.
“The plane asked to return to Beirut Airport shortly after take-off due to a malfunction,” a Lebanese Airport official said.
On January 25 2010, an Ethiopian airliner crashed into the sea near the airport shortly after take off, killing 90 passengers on board, most of whom were Lebanese.
