Florida: A plane was diverted after an aggressive passenger attacked the crew with coffee pots and tried to open the cabin door.
After this incident, Air Canada flight from Jamaica to Toronto was diverted to Orlando, Florida.
According to the Federal Criminal Complaint, the crew members and other passengers secured Brandon Michael Courneyea using zip ties, DC reported.
It is also reported Courneyea yelled at passengers for looking at him. After which, he grabbed a coffee pot and swung it at crew members. He then rushed towards the rear door and began to pull the lever.
Later, he was arrested by Federal officials.
