Hyderabad: After assuming charge as Industries Minister, KTR is seriously considering to help small industrialists and traders. The sub-committee of State Cabinet is preparing a draft policy to extend financial help to small industrialists, Industrial Institutions and other traders.
Attempts are being made to identify the industries which have been closed down during the past 4-5 years due to financial losses. By providing financial assistance, such industries could be restarted which would generate more employment. Mr. KTR is consulting the officials of Finance Dept. for providing financial assistance to such sick units. In major industries where there is large number of workers, plans are being formulated to give financial aid for the extension their services.
It may be mentioned that Mr. KTR consulted Finance Minister, Mr. E. Rajender and Chief Secretary, Dr. Rajiv Sharma to review the new industrial policy. Various possibilities of extending major industrial projects were considered to generate more employment opportunities.
