The Shahi Masjid Bagh-e-Amma was spread over the area of 13811 sqyds but the communal elements have gobbled up the 3362 sqyds in such a way that there is no sign of the land. Moreover the gardeners of public garden have constructed a room adjoining the masjid which was earlier used to change the dresses or having lunch but sadly under planned conspiracy photos of various Hindu deities have been kept in the room. Though the room has asbestos roof but after fixing grills in the walls the iron grills have been painted in saffron colour and Hindu motifs have been painted at doorsill of the room. It is being tried to gradually convert the room into a temple.
Readers! You must be shocked to learn that puja is being performed at atleast 7 places in public garden while pujaris have been formally deployed at 3 places.
It must be noted that when the historical Bagh-e-Amma was constructed in 1846 there was no sign of any temple there, on the contrary a very beautiful model of Shahi Masjid was presented to Huzoor Nizam which is still present at Nizam Museum of Purani Haveli.
Ministry of Minority Welfare should immediately come into action otherwise the whole Bagh-e-Amma will be transformed into a Hindu place of worship in the future.
