London, Feb 19 (ANI): The family of convicted Paralympics champion Oscar Pistorius has criticised the media for producing sensational reports of the murder case against him, following the discovery of a bloodied cricket bat at the sprinter””s home. Pistorius”” father Henke Pistorius said that he was disappointed by reports that the discovery of the bat was further evidence against his son””s guilt, and questioned the integrity of the newspapers covering the report, the Guardian reports. Insisting on his son””s innocence, Pistorius”” father stated that the killing of Pistorius”” girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp although unfortunate, was an accident. He added that the family firmly supported Pistorius and will remove the facts from fiction in the media reports. (ANI)
