Imphal, August 21: With the protests against the killing of a youth in an alleged fake police encounter here refusing to die down, Union Home Secretary G K Pillai would review the situation in the state today.
He would meet Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and senior police officials during his visit to the state, sources said.
The protesters are demanding resignation of the chief minister.
Chungkham Sanjit (27) was killed by police commandos at the Imphal Market on July 23. A pregnant woman was also allegedly killed by stray bullets during the encounter.
