With the completion of Wuquf-e-Arafat, lakh of pilgrims from across the world, including 5445 pilgrims of Hyderabad Embarkation Point, successfully performed Haj.
Among the pilgrims who performed Haj include 2961 pilgrims of Telangana, 1816 of Andhra Pradesh and 653 pilgrims of neighbouring districts of Karnataka. All of them had left for Haj through 15 regular and four chartered flights for their holy journey.
Telangana State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S.A. Shukoor has congratulated the pilgrims on the successful completion of Haj. He informed that a total of 5451 pilgrims had left for the holy journey from Hyderabad Embarkation Point. Of them, six pilgrims – three from Telangana, two from AP and one from Karnataka – died in Makkah. (INN)
