The Haj Camp 2015 commenced at Haj House in Nampally here on Monday.
The Haj pilgrims, hailing from different districts of Telangana, have started arriving at the Haj Camp since Monday morning. State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S.A.Shukoor and other officials received the pilgrims. Their registration was done at the Reporting Counter and they were given special stickers as per their Cover Numbers.
Prof. Shukoor also inspected the arrangements for the stay and departure of pilgrims at the Haj Camp. He informed that the pilgrims, who would be travelling from the first three flights, have started arriving at the Haj Camp. The first flight will take off from Haj Terminal of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on September 2 at 6.10 AM. The second flight is scheduled at 9.10 AM and the third flight at 11.10 PM. The Haj flights would continue till September 8. Each flight will carry 340 pilgrims.
Over 5400 Haj pilgrims belonging to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and four neihbouring districts of Karnataka will leave for the holy journey through 16 flights from 2nd to 8th September. (INN)
