Pilgrims prepare to leave Makkah and head for Madina

Hyderabad: Pilgrims of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will start leaving for Madina Munawwara from September 25. Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that preparations have begun for the batches to leave for Madina. They will stay there for 8 days. Special buses will be arranged for the purpose.

The first batch will leave on September 25. Before leaving for Madina pilgrims will perform Tawaf-e-Vida (Farewell Tawaf). Buildings near to Haram have been selected for pilgrims’ stay in Madina where all the basic facilities will be available. However pilgrims will have to arrange their own food.

Prof. Shukoor informed that two pilgrims are admitted in the hospital in Makkah due to ill health. They are likely to be discharged within two days. Pilgrims will start returning to Hyderabad from October 5. The last batch will return on October 11.
