Hyderabad: Pilgrims of Hajj 2010 belonging to Hyderabad and Rangareddy are requested to collect the cheques of User Development Fee (UDF)) from the office of Hajj Committee located at Hajj House, Nampally. Central Hajj Committee is returning 50 pc of the User Development Fee to Hajj pilgrims of 2010. 909 covers belonging to Hyderabad and Rangareddy are being returned Rs. 487 per head through cheques.
Pilgrims belonging to districts have already collected their cheques through their respective Hajj societies. However most of the cheques belonging to the pilgrims of Hyderabad and Rangareddy are being returned due to change in address hence Hajj Committee has requested the pilgrims to collect the cheques from Hajj Committee office.
It must be noted that in 2010 the then government had announced to waive 50% waiver on the User Development Fee (UDF); as per the announcement, the Central Hajj Committee has begun returning the amount.
