State Hajj Committee has appealed pilgrims returning to the country not to accept parcels of unrelated people or else they may face complications at Hyderabad airport. Pilgrims are also urged to avoid carrying items banned by Saudi Airlines and customs officials. They may also face action by custom officials for carrying valuable items especially jewelry more than the permissible limit or end up in paying challans for the same.
Generally it is witnessed that innocent pilgrims accept parcels given by unknown persons in Makkah Mukarrama and Madina Munawwara. They are stopped at the airport by the officials and action is taken against them.
