Hyderabad: Once seen as a lookout point for the people entering into the limits of Hyderabad city, the rocks near the famous ‘Tipu’s Lookout’ at Lakdikapul chiseled and ground to dust.
No surprise if this spot is overlooked as just another heritage sites losing to encroachers.
The lookout was constructed by Tipu Khan Bahadur, one of the confidant and equestrian trainer of H.E. Mir Mahboob Ali Pasha the sixth Nizam nearly 150 years ago to keep an eye on any enemy trying enter into the city and also to get a perfect view of city monuments.
