Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP K Kavitha today said the photographers duty was tough and difficult.
Along with Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana and others, Kavitha attended the World Photography Day celebrations held at Ravindra Bharathi here today. They also gave awards to some of the best photo journalists on the occasion. Kavitha said, “The photo is like a debate that tells much of so many things in the society. Photographers are always alert on social issues and depict world incidents through their works. Photographers and politicians have close relations”, she said, adding that she watched very closely that one issue was shown in two different ways through photos.
Kavitha said the TRS Government was committed to journalists’ welfare, including photo and other journalists in the State. Telangana Jagruthi will give awards to best photo journalists for covering Bathukamma festival. The MP also asked the latter to prepare ground work from village, towns, districts and State levels on the festival. (NSS)
