Hyderabad: Ahead of Vinayaka Chaturthi Salar Jung Museum is going to organize a special photo exhibition on September 2. The photographs taken from the original artifacts of the museum will be on display.
According to a media release, The objects of Ganesha in the museum collection are from 13th century to 20th century in bronzes, brass, wood, marble, miniature painting and thankha painting belongs to various parts of India like Deccan, Karnataka, and Kerala. Even some of the bronze objects are from Nepal and miniature paintings from Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Around 55 photo print from museum collection has been displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr. A.N. Reddy. Director of Salar Jung Museum.
