Photo exhibition of Muslim Freedom Fighters on June 30, July 1

Hyderabad: A two-day photo exhibition of Muslim Freedom Fighters is being organized on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July at “BookWorms Reading Room” near New Nilofer CafĂ©, Red Hills, Lakdikapul.

The exhibition contains photographs of 155 freedom fighters about whom the younger generation is not aware. Their entries also do not find in the history of freedom fighters of India.

Noted journalist and historian, Mr. Syed Naseer Ahmed collected the records of Muslim Freedom Fighters and got their photographs sketched by artists. He presented them in a book form which was applauded in various parts of the country. It contains details about Siraj-ud-Daula, Haider Ali and Tipu Sultan. It also has entries on Gulam Rasool Khan, Nawab of Kurnool, Mubarizu-ud-Daula, Masooma Begum, Akbar Ali Khan and others.

The younger generation will also know the contribution made by Major General Shahnawaz Khan, Obeidullah Khan Sindhi etc.

It is worth mentioning that the slogan “Quit India” and “Inquilab Zindabad” were given by Muslim freedom fighters.

The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All are invited.
