Phoolbagh housing project to be completed by March 2015

GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar has directed the Engineering officials and the concerned contractor of M/s. Arrow constructions to complete the 320 houses under JNNURM Scheme, which is being taken up at Phool Bagh, by 19th December.

The Commissioner, along with Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, local corporator Vaikuntam, Engineer-in-Chief R Dhan Singh, Central Zone Commissioner Dr. N. Satyanarayana and senior officials of the Engineering and Housing Wing of GHMC have visited and inspected the JNNURM Housing Scheme at Phool Bagh near Basheerbagh on Tuesday.

The Commissioner and Goshamahal MLA interacted with the beneficiaries and the residents of the Phoolbagh area and responding to their plea with regard to various civic related issues, the Commissioner assured them that all necessary civic issues would be solved. He further directed the concerned officials to coordinate with the residents and as well as the beneficiaries of Poolbagh and sort out the issues at the earliest.

The Commissioner said the Phoolbagh housing colony, which has been sanctioned under JNNURM Scheme, consists of 608 houses. The total cost of the project is around Rs. 1664.96 lakhs. He said that the entire project would be completed by March 2015. Somesh Kumar requested that all the beneficiaries to see that their 10 per cent contribution is paid at the earliest so as to get their houses on priority. (INN)
