‘Phobia’ is Radhika Apte’s best work so far: Gulshan Devaiah

Mumbai: Actor Gulshan Devaiah says that film “Phobia” is actress Radhika Apte’s best work but the film left him in a “bad condition”.

“After watching ‘Phobia’, I am in a bad condition now. I do not like horror films. I came here only to support my friend Radhika. It is an outstanding film. This is Radhika’s best work so far.

“I have never seen her better than this. She holds everything together, carries the film very well. ‘Phobia’ scared me. If you like horror films, then this film is for you. Though I do not like to watch horror movies, it is a good film,” Gulshan said at the screening of the film.

The pair had worked together in “Hunterrr”.

“Phobia” is a psychological thriller where Radhika plays an agoraphobic or a person who has the irrational fear of open or public places. It is directed by Pavan Kirpalani, who had previously helmed the hit “Ragini MMS”.

Asked if he has any phobia, the 37-year-old Gulshan replied: “Yes! I have a fear of snakes.”

Incidentally, “Phobia” was earlier set to release along with Gulshan’s “Cabaret”. But Gulshan informed that the release date has been postponed by two weeks. The “Hate Story” star will be seen romancing Richa Chadha in the film, directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and produced by Pooja Bhatt.

Besides, he will also be seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s “Junooniyat”, also starring Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam in the lead roles.
