Metro Manila: The Philippines Cybercrime Police has arrested 474 employees working with a trading company in Pampanga over alleged involvement in cybercrime.
The Business Outsourcing firm in Berthaphil Business Park was targeted by the security team which was engaged in fraudulent financial transactions worth around $1 million (around P52 million) daily, CNN Philippines reported.
The security forces barged into the company on June 7 at the Clark Special Economic Zone.
The arrests were made when the employees were working on night shift. More arrests were to be made form other shifts as well said the Police.
Apart from employees, the Police also arrested 8 Israeli nationals who were supposedly running a fraudulent business.
