Pharmacists Have Key Role In Public Health:Jupally

TRS MLA Jupally Krishna Rao today opined that the role of Pharmacists was very crucial in maintaining the people’s health. He said he would put an agenda before the government to protect the interest of Pharmacists.

Releasing a calendar of Pharmacists Association of Telangana here, Jupally assured that he would strive for effective implementation of Pharmacists Act of 1948. He exhorted the pharmacists to treat their practice as a noble professional service rather than commercial motive. He also said he would prevail upon the government to fill the vacant pharmacist posts. He felt that the government must prohibit the colleges and courses which were not approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). He also urged the State government to solve all the problems of the pharmacists.

Senior Journalist and president of Telangana Journalists Forum Allam Narayana called upon the government to initiate steps to increase employment opportunities to pharmacists.
