Pharm-D protest to boycott voting

Hyderabad: On Sunday, hundreds of Pharm D graduates staged a protest at Dharna Chowk to boycott voting.

They claim that the government has failed to create cadres for clinical pharmacists in government-run hospitals.

They rued that although over 1200 students pursue Pharm-D only 20 percent will get employment.

The students raised slogans against the TS government with posters “no ob no vote, no cadre no vote”.

A Pharm-D graduate, Shalini B said, “The government has neglected us by not creating a cadre for clinical pharmacists in government hospitals. Fifty percent of 27,500 pharmacy stores in Telangana have employed unqualified people and the government has not taken any action.”
