Hyderabad, September 23: The Osmania University Students Joint Action Committee on Friday called for petrol bunks and wine shops bandh in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on Saturday expressing solidarity to general strike of employees.
The OU JAC which met at University campus on Friday gave a call to wine shop owners and petrol bunks to shut down their business activities on Saturday as part of extending solidarity to Telangana agitation.
The OU JAC said it took this decision as part of intensifying agitation for statehood and to mount pressure on Centre to announce its decision on Telangana without further delay.
