Hyderabad, July 6: On one side where people of Telangana region are struggling for separate Telangana region and calling for bandh, hoarders on the other side are trying to fill their pockets exploiting the situation. With the announcement of 48 hours bandh, people swarm petrol pumps to fill their vehicle tanks. But during the bandh petrol was sold at Rs. 120 per litre and diesel at Rs. 80 per litre.
Sharing autos which usually charge 5 rupees per head were seen charging 20 Rs. minimum fare. For reaching various areas of the city from Secunderabad, Nampally and other railway stations auto drivers charged Rs 400 to 500.
Minimum fare of Setwin buses was increased to 10 rupees instead of usual 4 rupees.
