Hyderabad, September 16: The Andhra Pradesh Federation of Petroleum Traders (APFPT) has decided to intensify the campaign of “No Purchase No Sale from September 20” till their demands are met
Mr M Prabhakar Reddy, President, said in a press release here today that the Ministry of petroleum and Natural Gas ( MOPING) called for a meeting on September 13 to discuss the demands their bleeding dealers. The discussions ended with no results, and hence they have decided to go ahead with the indefinite ‘no purchase no sale’ in all retail outlets.
Their demands include five percent dealer commission in lieu of the present low commission of 2.0 percent on Petrol and 1.75 percent in diesel. The present commission is further reduced by the evaporation/ handling loss of the products to the tune of 0.6 percent on petrol and 0.2 percent on diesel, and tremendous increase in minimum wages of other utility tariffs inclusive of statutory payments.
