Hyderabad: Today is the last date for accepting Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes by Petrol bunks, hospitals, RTC buses, electricity bills and advance payment of property taxes.
From 12th November onward, only banks will exchange notes with the new ones. Banks will also function on Saturday and Sunday. Students travelling to exam centers for attending Group II service test may buy bus tickets by tendering old currency notes.
