Hyderabad: Petition was filed in the High Court on Wednesday urging it to assign the case to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to probe the alleged irregularities in TNGOs Housing Society as some persons were influencing the ongoing investigation. The petitioners informed the Court in their petition that irregularities took place in the TNGOs Housing Society and there was a need to probe the case by the CBI. Accepting the case for trial, the High Court asked the CCS police to submit the interrogation report to it. It may be recalled that the Central Crime Station (CCS) police had registered a case on several persons including Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud in the past itself. (NSS)
