A petition was filed in the AP High Court, praying that the Chandrayanagutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi should be disqualified as a member of the legislature, for the controversial remarks he made recently.
Janardana Goud, a lawyer who filed the petition contended that the remarks of Akbaruddin were against law and hence he should be disqualified.
