Hyderabad: Assuring strict action against the persons involved in irregularities, Chancellor Urdu University Zafar Sareshwala clarified that he would take stringent measures with the help of Vice Chancellor to prevent any further scam. He also assured to take action against those found guilty in the previous scams.
Speaking to media persons Zafar Sareshwala said he would get information regarding the scam surfaced in connection with WiFi installation and publication of syllabus books.
He was informed that committee comprising of experts has submitted its investigative report 6 months ago. On which he said he will take action after seeking details regarding the investigative report.
He termed the reports saying Chancellor does not have any powers as ridiculous. He said even if there are no powers, the person should know how to use them.
