Hyderabad, September 30: Two days after the murder of TDP leader Chalasani Pandu alias Venkateshwara Rao, his secretary Mahender Reddy was arrested today.
According to the DCP (South Zone) Stephen Ravindra, the leader’s personal assistant has confessed before police to have killed him. 54-year-old Rao, was found murdered in an apartment at Madhuranagar on Monday.
Rao was stabbed in the stomach with a broken glass bottle and hit on the head with stone.
