Lucknow, October 15: One person allegedly having links with terror outfits has been arrested in Bareilly district, police said today.
Chand Mohammad was arrested from near Sathvadi Mazar in Karamchari Nagar area last night with a country-made weapon, five cartridges and three IEDs, ADG Law and Order Brij Lal said.
He told reporters that pamphlets carrying the names of Harkat-ul-Jehad Islami (HuJI), Bangladeshi Islamic Hukumat Taliban were recovered from him.
According to the ADG, the pamphlets said, “We have enough weapons, war would go on, those joining us against the anti-Islamic governments would be rewarded, we have nuclear and atom bombs, America is afraid of us, we can crush India anytime and Osama Bin Laden is the leader of the group.”
Brij Lal said that two letters with slogans like “Islamic Mazhab zindabad” and “Naare Takbeer” have also been recovered from him.
