AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said people’s problems would be resolved during the on-going Janmabhoomi program. “We are taking note of people’s problems that would be resolved after discussion”, he said. Today is the sixth day of the fifth round of the Janmabhoomi program in AP.
Inaugurating Siddapuram left irrigation project, the Chief Minister said the project was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 119 crore. Siddapuram left irrigation project would provide water to 22,000 acres for irrigation and drinking water to 12 surrounding villages. He exhorted the people to utilise water and natural resources properly. “It was every one’s responsibility to protect natural resources, including forest”, Naidu said.
Enumerating the achievements of his government, including waiving off Rs 24,000 crore loan to farmers, the Chief Minister said they have successfully conducted Godavari-Krishna pushkaralu. The government was determined to develop Rayalaseema region into a horticulture hub, he said. (NSS)
