People worried due to flood but Kiran Kumar Reddy is busy with Sonia Gandhi

Honorary President of YSR Congress, Ms. Viyayalakshmi told that the coastal districts of A.P have been badly hit by floods and the people are worried but the C.M of A.P Mr.N.Kiran Kumar Reddy is making rounds of New Delhi for seeking audience from Ms.Sonia Gandhi. She told that had Dr.YSR been alive, farmers wouldn’t have seen such bad days. She demanded the Govt. to give Rs 15,000 per acre as compensation to the farmers to meet the loss caused by Nilam.

Touring the coastal districts of A.P., she remarked that C.M has no farsightedness. Meteorological Dept. had already given warning signals long before the floods. Despite this, C.M. failed to mobilize Govt machinery. If timely actions had been taken, heavy damages wouldn’t have occurred. She told that relief work has to be done on war footings. She said that crops covering an area of more than 5 lakh acre has been destroyed.

The farmers are worried that C.M is not with them. People are remembering Dr.YSR. He had released Rs. 17 crore for the construction of a huge wall in Tameeluru to protect people from floods. He sanctioned an additional grant of Rs 28 crore on the recommendation of the local M.L.A., Mr. Nani.

After the demise of Dr.YSR, C.M. promised to sanction Rs.30 crore but so far, funds have not been released.
Ms. Jayalakshmi instructed the workers of YSR Congress Party to extend every possible help to flood victims. She said that the condition of the farmers in the state is very pathetic. After Jagan becomes C.M., efforts would be made for bringing green revolution in the state.
