Alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to see there won’t be any Opposition in the country, AICC secretary V Hanumanth Rao said the people were watching Modi’s style of functioning and would teach him a fitting lesson.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, VH stressed the unity of the secular parties in the nation. He said the wise people would also teach a fitting lesson to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who was hobnobbing Modi. Alleging that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s government was suppressing Dalits, Backward Classes and Minorities, VH asked KCR government whether sand was important to him than Dalits. VH dared TRS leaders to come to Sircilla and know the facts.
Reacting on the removal of Digvijaya Singh as AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana State, VH said he didn’t know. “I opposed Digivijay on some issues in the past and informed the same to AICC. I think the AICC removed Digvijay as the latter taking up padayatra in Madhya Pradesh”, he said and stated that the new incumbent RC Kuntia has experience on the State party affairs. (NSS)
