People will lose if Congress wins in State, cautions KCR

Hyderabad: TRS supremo and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today cautioned people that if they vote for the Congress alliance to power, they will lose their houses and suffer innumerable problems in future.

Addressing a public meeting at old Nalgonda district here today, KCR charged that the Congress leaders have swiftly forgotten about their misdeeds and corruption in housing scheme. The Congress leaders swindled funds in the name Indiramma houses, Rajiv Swagruha, Rajiv Gruhakalpa and now talking of development if voted to power. He made it clear that through an inquiry ordered by the TRS regime, the CID revealed corruption by the leaders, who took funds of many houses. The people suffered a jolt of cheating by the Congress rulers when they did not keep promises and raised eye-brows at the housing scam, he said.

“If you vote for the Congress and its allies by default, the voters will lose their houses and utensils as you faced that problem during the previous Congress regime”, he warned. KCR also asked the electors to refrain from voting to the Congress for forging alliance with TD Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who was coming in the way of Telangana projects and development. You must avoid confusion as the Congress and TD leaders were campaigning with false and meaningless promises”, he said.

“The people are aware that the TRS has come up with increased pensions, gave priority to projects and spending huge funds for their completion and surpassed power crisis giving 24 hours supply to farm sector. Since Mission Bhagiratha was giving positive results, the women are happy to draw safe drinking waters at their homes and we have launched Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima for farmers and Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak for poor girls for marriage and others. Keeping the schemes in view and the failure of the previous government in view, the voters should judge the TRS to retain power”, he added.
