People vexed with by-elections: Ministers

The Minor Irrigation Minister TG Venkatesh and Law Minister Erasu Prathap Reddy have opined that the polling is very dull because the people were vexed with the frequent bye-elections. They said that the people were entertaining a feeling that it was good to cast their vote to YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy, who had a huge amount of money, to get a chance to become like him.

Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Tuesday, the ministers have said that the Kadapa MP Jagan has helped the Congress party by launching a political party. “Congress leaders are now working united to face the Jagan’s YSRCP”, they said.

Reiterating his stand that the state should be divided if the people had cast their vote to Jagan party candidates, TG said that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government will resolve the problems, if any, in the Telangana region if the Congress party candidates emerge as winners in the bye-elections.

Responding to a question, TG said that the people would fully realize about Jagan by the time of 2014 elections. “Congress candidates would have got huge majority if there was no ‘Odarpu’ Yatras in the State”, he said. (NSS)
