People thronged Du-ba-du programme

Hyderabad, 02 November (Siasat News): Siasat and MDF had jointly conducted du-ba-du programme for the match making of Muslim girls and boys where the response was tremendous from the twin cities.

On this occasion, noted journalist and columnist Mr. Zafar Agha said that it is a common belief that women are not given equal rights in Islam whereas if we study the teaching of Islam thoroughly, we would understand that there is no discrimination between males and females.

According to Islam Nikah should be made easier so as adultery would become difficult but alas! The situation today is quite reversed. Muslims are bonded with their own created customs and rituals and because of this, many Muslim girls are still unmarried though their ages are beyond.

He however, singled out Hyderabadi Muslims that they are fortunate enough that they have Siasat amidst them and M/s Zahid and Zaheeruddin Ali Khan are doing their best for welfare of the community be it marriage, education, professional courses or any other help.

Parents were seen exchanging views for their wards and registration was also going on. Anwarul Uloom College was presenting the scene of a mini mela where many enthusiasts and passers-by also enquired about the gathering, as they didn’t know what was going on inside the premises.

M/s Syed Khalid Hashmi (America), Abdul Quddus Ghori (advocate), Abid Siddiqui, Khaja Moinuddin also addressed the gathering. Professor Moin Ansari (America), Dr. Sirajur Rahman, Dr. S A Majeed and others were also present.
