New Delhi: As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrates its foundation day today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes to all the party workers and said that the nations had reposed their faith in the party, seeing it as means to fulfil their dreams.
“On #BJPFoundationDay, I salute crores of BJP Karyakartas who have always served the BJP with admirable vigour & great dedication. Guided by love for India & determined to take India to new heights of progress, generations of Karyakartas devoted their lives to the Party.
From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Kutch to Arunachal Pradesh, people have reposed faith in BJP & see BJP as a party to fulfil their dreams,” the Prime Minister said in a series of tweets.
Asserting that the BJP is proud of its ‘industrious’ Chief Minister’s serving in many states, he added that wherever the BJP has formed Governments, they served people in an exemplary manner.
“My good wishes to all BJP Karyakartas as they continue their selfless journey of catering to aspirations of people & serving society,” the Prime Minister added. Meanwhile, state party units will organise functions to mark the occasion and Party president Amit Shah will address a gathering in New Delhi.
Gujarat BJP would be celebrating the party’s foundation day by taking out ‘Bharat Mata Gaurav Kooch’, a march, at 18 places across the state. It was on this day in 1980 that BJP was formed as a separate party.
