TRS MLA K T Rama Rao said some poersons opposed to the Telangana movement were propagating that there was no Telangana movement in the Ranga Reddy district and said people should spurn such propaganda.
KTR unveiled the RR East dairy in the Telangana Bhavan here on thurday. Speaking on the occasion, he has urged the activists and people of Telangana to make the planned Sadak Bandh a grand success.
Referring to the President not mentioning about Telangana in his address to the Parliament, KTR said this had once again proved that Congress was a betrayer. He has alleged that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government was trying to scuttle the Sadak Bandh. He said none in the Telangana region could be intimidated with arrests. He said the Sadak Bandh would be made a such a success that it would uphold the self-respect of Telangana.
It is TRS which founded JAC: KCR Meanwhile, the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao said that it was the TRS which had set up the Telangana Political JAC. Stating that JAC was working with commitment for Telangana, he said his party was also working actively in the JAC.
KCR has asked the centre to uphold its promise of Telangana. He said it was unfortunate that the word given with Parliament as the witness was not upheld. He has called upon the people of Telangana to get 100 Assembly and 16 Parliament seats for the TRS. He said some enemies of Telangana state were campaigning that there was no Telangana sentiment in the RR district and called upon the people to disprove this campaign by making the Sadak Bandh a grand success. He called upon MLAs of his party and others belonging to the Telangana region to participate in the programme. (NSS)
