People deprived of the benefits of Welfare Schemes: Chief Justice

Chief Justice of A.P. High Court Justice Madan B. Lokur stressed the need to strengthen rural judiciary system. He proposed the scheme of Gram Nyalalayams (rural courts). Justice Madan was inaugurating a special mobile court to deal with corruption cases in Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and other development schemes.

He told that rural courts are the schemes. He told that rural courts are the components of judicial reformation. Mobile court established in Sanga Reddy is the first of the 13 courts to be established in the State. It has been setup under the ordinance for social audit for Eradication of Corruption Act 2011. This court will hear the cases daily. Justice Madan said that due to corruption, people are not being benefited by many welfare schemes of the Govt.
