People briefly block metro train at Kashmere Gate

New Delhi: A group of people today blocked a Huda City Centre-bound metro train at the Kashmere Gate Station.

Eyewitnesses said the train was forced to halt for over 10 minutes.

A metro official however said services on Yellow Line (Line 2) were not much affected due to the “commotion”.

“Around 15-20 people blocked the train protesting against malfunctioning of AFC gates and lack of ticket counters,” the official said.

Line 2 connects Huda City Centre, located in Gurgaon, to Samaypur Badli in North Delhi.
