Responding to criticism by TRS leaders over his comments, Prof. Kodandaram today said JAC was not a political organization but it was only for welfare of people.
Prof. Kodandaram was speaking at a function organised by Adilabad JAC on “Prajala Akansha-Prabhutva Tirutennulu” at Mancherial. The credit to bring all political parties under one umbrella during Telangana agitation goes to JAC only, he said, adding that this organization was working for the welfare of the people. Kodandram said he became popular due to public support whom he cannot deceive. The JAC chairman said except people, nobody was behind him, he said, adding that an action plan was being evolved against Singareni open mines. “We will fight for development of the State and will follow the path of late Prof. K. Jayashankar”, he added.
