People asked to celebrate Diwali with care for life & environment

Hyderabad: The Central Pollution Control Board and the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change have advised the people to celebrate the festival of Deepawali with care for life and concern for environment.
The Board in a notification said that crackers spoil the environment by causing noise and air pollution and adversely affect health. The fireworks emit smoke, fine toxoc dust and chemicals that can cause problems like Aggravation of respiratory diseases, injury to the eyes and other parts of the body, impairment of hearing capacity, insomnia, hypertension, stress, palpitation etc., and distress to the animals including pets.
