Extraordinary crowd is being seen in the padyatra of Mr. N.Chandrababu Naidu President of TDP.
Speaking to audience, he told that the tenure of Dr. YSR was full of corrupt practices. If the wealth collected through foul means is distributed to the poor, each family could easily get Rs.2 Lakh. He told that people go to mosque, church or temple for commencing good work to get divine blessings, but the tragedy is that corrupt persons are visiting these holy places to get divine blessings. History has no such precedent.
Mr. Naidu predicted that owing to political greed, Mr. Chiranjevi merged Praja Rajyam Party in Congress, in the same way, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would also join congress soon.
Quoting the scam in A.P. State Minorities Finance Corporation, Naidu said that Hyderabad had emerged as an important city on the world map but due to financial irregularities, the development of the State has receded to 20 years.
Referring to Telangana issue, Mr. Naidu said that TDP never opposed it. He assured the people that he would waive loans taken by the farmers if TDP assumes power. Farmers would be supplied electricity continuously for 9 hours daily.
Poor students will be given free education with hostel facilities. He also told that TDP would take positive steps for the economic development of Minorities. He said that the difference between TDP and Congress is that Congress makes lofty promises but it doesn’t fulfill them whereas TDP implements them. Mr. Naidu announced special package for RTC employees also. He told that RTC drivers and conductors would be given free plots of lands.
He told that people are vexed up with the present Congress Govt. He criticized Congress leaders that they are enjoying and the people got irritated with them. He predicted that the day is not far when TDP would assume power.
During his padayatra, Mr. Naidu also mentioned about the backwardness of Adilabad District. He said that TDP would take necessary steps for its development. In this district, still there are 350 posts of Urdu medium teachers vacant.
Mr. Naidu assured that TDP would issue tickets to 19 Muslims for contesting Assembly elections.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat and TDP politburo member and other Muslim leaders of TDP discussed Minority issues with Mr. Naidu.
