Mr. Ghulam Mohammed, President of Telangana pensioners Central Association to withdraw the case against the pensioners who retired in 1998 and before and also to pay the arrears to these pensioners.
Pensioners who had retired before 1998 filed cases in AP Administrative Tribunal and AP High Court. They won the case in both these courts but the Govt. didn’t implement these judgements. It appealed the Supreme Court against these judgements. This case is pending in Supreme Court for the past 9 years. Many pensioners have expired during this period. It is certain that the pensioners would win this case in Supreme Court also.
He demanded the Govt. to withdraw the case from Supreme Court keeping in view the loyalty and integrity of the pensioners while they were in Govt. service. Pensioners would get relief if Govt. withdraws the case & pays arrears to pensioners. It would be an exemplary act of the Govt. The pensioners support Congress party in the next election.
