London, February 14: Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is eyeing a role opposite Johnny Depp in the next “Pirates of the Caribbean” film.
Cruz is in discussions to star in the movie, which is to be helmed by her “Nine” director Rob Marshall, reported femalefirst.co.uk
Several of the franchise’s original cast members, including Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley have ruled out returning to the next films.
