The Mandal Surveyor of Pendurthi of Visakhapatnam district, Ravindra Paul Das, was caught red handed at his office on Thursday for taking bribe.
According to the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Das accepted the bribe amount of Rs 5,000 from the complainant Yedla Rama Rao for handing over the F-Line demarcation sketch of the agricultural land of his grandmother. The accused officer has been arrested and produced before the Court of Special Judge for SPE & A.C.B. Cases at Visakhapatnam. Case is under investigation. (INN)
