Hyderabad, September 25: Even as the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation suffers with the financial crisis the municipal officers are so careless that they forgot to dispatch demand bills for municipal tax to the tax payers.
Generally the municipal tax is paid in two installments, one in the middle of July and the other in the end of October.
Residents have made complains that this time they didn’t receive any demand notice hence they didn’t pay tax but now they have received notice to pay tax with penalty.
Former Mayor Mr. T Krishna Reddy has also become the victim of Municipal officers’ negligence as he too received notice to pay tax with penalty without receiving demand notice earlier.
