(Siasat News) The Peace Rally of Telangana supporters which was taken out in Secunderabad was foiled by the police. Police arrested its leaders. Telangana Political Joint Action Committees expressed its anger on the police and said that it is a narrow minded mentality of the police. The organisors were trying to organized peace march starting from Paradise circle in Secunderabad. Police didn’t accord permission to it.
Mr. T. Srinivas Goud, President Telangana NGOs’ Association while talking to pressmen told that Telangana JAC has decided to organize rallies and peace marches for seven days but on the very first day of its march on 1st September police arrested its leaders and disbanded the agitators. He alleged that on the one hand, police has given complete freedom to the agitators of Seema Andhra. Police has not given permission to them also but they are not arresting them. Police is not taking any action against Seema Andhra agitators. By crushing the agitations of the people of Telangana, police is trying to please Seema Andhra leaders.
