PDP demands national highway status for Mughal Road

Jammu, December 28: Opposition People’s Democratic Party today demanded national highway status for the Mughal Road, which connects Kashmir’s Shopian district with Poonch.

He observed that this historical road, if granted the National Highway status, would not only boost local economy but also emerge as an alternative route to connect Jammu with Kashmir.

The PDP leader, also, emphasised on opening more routes to enhance connectivity between different regions of the state.
