PD Act invoked against two-wheelers thief

Hyderabad: Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, has invoked P.D.Act against Bommala Dilip Kumar, S/o Anjaiah of Osmania University Police Station.

A press release said today that Bommala Dilip Kumar, aged about 40 years, R/o Anand Nagar, Bandlaguda, Nagole, Medchal District, has been committing offences of theft of two-wheeler vehicles parked in front of residential houses and other places by using duplicate key in the limits of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerates to make easy money and to lead a lavish life. He Committed 18 such offences and has been creating fear and panic among the general public by committing such offences in public places and thus he has been acting in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order apart from disturbing the peace, tranquility and social harmony in the society.

Osmania University Police made efforts to arrest the accused Dilip Kumar, on April 24, 2018 and remanded him to judicial custody. The Detention Order was executed on him on July 31, 2018 and lodged him in Central Prison, Chanchalguda. (NSS)
