PCC Chief Botcha Sathyanarayana has recalled the services rendered by the PCC Linguistic Minorities Cell chairman Ashok Singh for the sake of the party with sincerity, and said that every Congress activist has to work like him.
PCC has organised a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, to condole the demise of Ashok Singh recently. Speaking on this occasion, Botcha said that the Congress party was not a hereditary party and leaders who work hard for the sake of party would get recognition within the party. He said that as a PCC Chief, he will not lag behind in looking after the welfare of the party workers though they were from any region. He said that the party will initiate necessary steps to help Ashok Singh’s family.
Former PCC president and Telangana senior Congress leader Dr K Keshava Rao has said that every Congress leader has to take inspiration from the working style of Ashok Singh, who worked sincerely for the sake of party.
MLA Christina Lazaraus, MLC KR Amos, PCC dignitaries G Niranjan, Tripurana Venkataratnam, Madasu Gangadhar, Padmaja Reddy and several others participated in the meeting. (NSS)
